Ausente da TV desde o final de Arquivo X, Duchovny escreveu, dirigiu e estrelou em um drama Reflexos da Amizade e será visto em The TV SET e Coisas que perdemos pelo Caminho.

Duchovny stars as a writer balancing a career, a 16-year-old daughter, an ex-wife and the other women in his life. The actor will also produce along with Kapinos and pilot director Stephen Hopkins.Mostly absent from the small screen since the end of The X-Files, Duchovny wrote, directed and starred in the drama House of D and will be seen in the upcoming films The TV Set and Things We Lost in the Fire.

Duchovny is best known to millions of fans for his work as Agent Fox Mulder on the long-running cult classic television series, "The X Files," a role for which he earned a Golden Globe(R) Award and was nominated for an Emmy(R). He also received Emmy(R) nominations for guest appearances on "The Larry Sanders Show" and "Sex and the City." He is a three-time Golden Globe(R) and SAG Award nominee. On the big screen, Duchovny's film credits include last year's Trust the Man and Evolution, both opposite Julianne Moore; and Return to Me, co-starring Minnie Driver. Upcoming film projects include Jake Kasdan's The TV Set, and Things We Lost in the Fire opposite Halle Berry and Benicio del Toro.The series was created and executive produced by Tom Kapinos ("Dawson's Creek"). Duchovny and Stephen Hopkins ("24"), who directed the pilot, will also serve as executive producers, with Melanie Greene serving as co-executive producer.

A rede de canal Premium a cabo ordenou 12 episodios do projeto do escritor Tom Kapinos, que centra em um escritor (Duchovny) que tenta equilibrar um filha adolescente de 13 anos, uma ex-mulher que ele ainda ama e um insaciável apetite por mulheres bonitas. We were there shooting a high school house party scene on the back patio until 1 am. It was COLD that night and some of us had to get in the pool. They heated it for us, but coming out of the pool was torture.
